The rainy thunderstorm yesterday cleared the sky leaving only thin clouds in the morning. Daylight was pretty bright by the time I climbed up to the roof floor to paint. Before preparing to paint, I cleared up the massive roof after battling with thunderstorm. Bright light reflected to distinguish the dark tones on the mountain range at the horizon and the fresh greens of the hill on shore. So I chose to paint a portion on each of them, which besides the tones and scales created a sense of depth, the configuration of the picture conformed a geometric composition. I completed the picture in the calm and quiet atmosphere, while the sea remained calm without traffic when the neighbors finished the morning housework unnoticeably.
