The temperature was even warmer than yesterday’s “Winter Begins”. The park was quiet on Monday morning and the pavilion behind the viewing platform was not busy. I chose to carry on with the panorama on the pathway, especially the draft sketched yesterday. I felt calm and peaceful filling in color on the sketch when the pathway was gradually busy with frequent passers-by. Instead of laying down pale washes on the large area such the support of the fence and floor of the pathway, I painted the small objects found behind the perimeter fence on the other side of the soccer field. The small objects scattered processing plenty vibrant hues such as the colorful outfit of the Tai Chi group, blossom on the trees. It seemed to work well because the images were clear and fine, especially the tones of the color revealed vividly contrasting to the shadow, which was added when the sun came to cast on the floor.
