The occasional wind blew my picture to flip. I sat down at the viewing platform watching the scenery down below towards the far left corner of the soccer field. That was a segment of the panoramic scene sketched yesterday. I painted first the pale grey sky at the top part of the paper and the pasture at the bottom. Leaving the perimeter fence and the bushes behind to be painted in the middle of the page. Though the air was misty throughout the park, I could view the scenery clear and far as dawn broke. I was querying leaving the object unpainted was painting negative or positive? So I started to the tidy images inside the small squares within the perimeter fence. To leaving white for the grid, I have to paint the bracketed images with carefully minded strokes. Eventually the picture looked tight and wired especially the distorted perspective. A lamppost was inserted at the edge to balance the various scales.
